A Climate Services & Systems, Inc. is one of many “AC companies,” but has stood out by providing Warrenville, IL and surrounding areas with experienced HVAC services for almost 30 years.
AC companies have knowledge on HVAC cleaning and it goes a long way. We did some research on National Air Duct Cleaners Association’s (NADCA) General Specification to save you some time. The General Specification is a written specification that describes what is necessary to coordinate a successful commercial HVAC system cleaning project.
It is by NADCA, the global trade association representing the HVAC inspection, cleaning and restoration industry. The General Specification is a free tool for professionals including engineers, architects, specifiers, and facility managers.
It includes items such as administrative requirements, submittals, qualifications of contractors, products to be used, and other important details to ensure the successful completion of an HVAC system cleaning project. It is a template that can be modified to reflect an individual project’s requirements.
It can be downloaded here: http://generalspec.nadca.com/
You can read a Q&A about the specification with NADCA’s Standards and Specifications Marketing Manager here.
NADCA publishes industry standards, educational materials and other useful information for consumers and members. If you need tips for your home, we have additional resources.
